Herpa Miniaturmodelle is the company that makes the little airplane models that are available in most airports and  on board duty free shops.

The Herpa models are accurate and to scale, with excellent decal as opposed to their competition. They also make accessories along with the airplanes, trucks and cars, so that you can build your own Herport (Herpa Airport) in 1/500 scale. The accessories include airport buildings, right down to the airbridges, runway lights  and flood lights.
