This picturization of the NSG commando operation to capture the supsects of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination makes for an interesting movie. Directed by Major Ravi who was the officer who headed the search team , the movie provides a first hand view on the events. The movie eventually blames the foot dragging of the CBI on the delay in capturing the suspects.

The guns used in the movie look real, compared to the earlier pipes with holes and fire crackers. The bullet proof vests though could do with a little more professional work.

What is interesting is also the way in which the movie states the governments reasons behind India sending the IPKF, and the reasons why the had pulled out. Also provided is a short insight into the Tamil Sinhala conflict.

Nothing great about the movie, though technically sound, and a good action thriller. The producers have gone all out and even made a neat website.
